Klout always had its problems from a brand perspective. When I showed up it had been branded more by its critics than by its employees. After two years of working with great clients on RFPs and their campaigns, we relaunched Klout with much more approachability. It was well received and was labeled “the best brand story of the social age.” The company sold two months later.
