The Lexus UX is a sub-compact crossover designed for affluent urban millennials. To launch it globally, we crafted two spots and shot them in Chicago.
The first is a metaphorical flag planting, saying this is the ultimate car for the city. The second is a harder working product spot that still feels fresh. What was so exciting about this project was our Plant a Flag spot was created almost entirely in CG. We shot footage, plates, talent and textures in Chicago, and then created this world you see with the talented folks at The Mill in Culver City.
